Our Computer Lab consists of 30 workstations. We were very lucky to receive all brand new computers this past summer and flat panel monitors this Christmas for our lab. The lab also has a Hitachi Projector System with a large screen which is useful for viewing and instructing to large groups. All Walker children have access to the computer lab. Kindergarten and First Grade come to lab once a week. Second through Fifth grades come to lab twice a week.
Every computer in the building has internet access. Students are taught basic researching skills to correspond with units in the classroom. All sites have been previously reviewed by the teacher or the computer lab manager to ensure safe web surfing.
