Our Mission Statement
The Walker Elementary staff, students, parents, and community will cooperatively provide a safe, child-centered environment that builds self-esteem, self-discipline and the essential skills for lifelong learning through the application of educational research and technology. While respecting the differences of others and by using responsible decision-making, students will exhibit qualities of good citizenship with the motivation to invent, dream, and explore in our changing world. The Walker faculty and staff will work as a team in order to reach proficiency in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. At Walker Elementary, All Children will Experience Success.
