Enter and exit the room quietly

Sit in your assigned seat or area

Listen and follow the teacher’s instructions

Control your body and voice

Consequences of Improper Behavior:

Step1: Warning is given by the teacher (verbal or non-verbal)

Step 2: Student is moved away from others

Step 3: Music teacher will talk to student after class about his/her behavior

If Improper Behavior Continues:

Step 1: A yellow slip will be sent home for parent(s) to sign

Step 2: Conference with student, music teacher, classroom teacher and principal

Musician’s Toolbox (“tools” and “skills” we use in class)

This contract is “signed” by each student every time they come to music
